Dear: Denise Allen, RN I want to thank the SEIU Organization and Members for providing those great Christmas gifts to Jefferson Reaves Sr. Health Center. Our Center is located in one of Dade County poorest neighborhood and when the gifts were given out to the children their faces displayed overwhelming joy and uncontrolled excitement. As a member of this great Union, I was glad we were part of providing a great need for the Patient for JRSHC. The JRSHC’S SEIU members greatly appreciate all the love which was given And we are looking forward for 2008. Loretta Amica, MSW ![]() Loreta Amica, Denise Allen, Santa and Arlene White. Dear Ms. Allen: I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and the SEIU organization for donating toys to our patients at North Dade Health Center for the Christmas celebration. As a community based agency we serve a population of needy children and families that may not have received any gifts for the holiday if it had not been for your kind gesture. The children that received toys faces lit up as they smiled and admired their gifts expressing gratitude. One of our deaf mute patients was sleeping in the pediatric waiting room and when we awaken him by presenting a CD player, he literally leaped for joy! Although, some of NDHC employees donated toys, SEIU donations made it possible to make a significant impact. Our North Dade Health Center family greatly appreciates you. Nora Milton, LCSW Clinical Social Worker |
