The agreement, which is an addendum to the existing Professionals contract, must still be ratified by employees in the Professionals bargaining unit, as well as the Public Health Trust and the County Commission.
The ratification vote will be held June 16 at Jackson North and South and June 17 at Jackson Main. See schedule here.
Among the highlights of the addendum:
- New 4.2% pay scales for every job classification in this group. Employees will move onto the new 4.2% scales on their anniversary date
- Employees are guaranteed a “transition step” increase of no less than 2.5% to get onto the new scales. If your transition step is less than 2.5%, you will move that amount plus a 4.2% step
- IT on-call pay supplement of 4.2 percent for all IT job classifications in this group
