This year is a huge election year as we head to the polls for county, state and federal elections. With the Miami-Dade County elections coming up on August 14, 2012, many candidates have already began rigorous campaigns in their communities. In order to cast a vote in any election, you must be registered to vote.
The registration deadline for every election is 29 days prior to Election Day (July 17, 2012 for Miami-Dade county elections and October 8, 2012 for the Presidential Election). Voter registrations are being held on Jackson Health System campuses. Registration takes no more than 5 minutes and is easy to do. The only way to assure that your voice is heard is to vote for candidates who are committed to issues important to you, the community and Jackson patients!
